Excellent Absorption and Ammonia Binding
SAFE® Unique Fiber Technology
The innovative and further optimized production step of High Performance Fibrillation (HPF) opens the fiber capillaries and provides excellent absorption and ammonia binding. A special heat treatment (HT) at 500° C reduces germs and bacteria.
How does High Performance Fibrillation work?
HPF is a purely mechanical production step. SAFE® owns unique technologies to process plant fibers specifically for the production of animal care products: In a multi-stage process step, the fiber structure is broken down into its finest fibrous structure.
Lowest Dust Levels – for a Healthy Environment
SAFE® Dust Reduction Technology
The innovative and further optimized production step of dedusting, reduces dust levels significantly. Thus SAFE® Premium Scientific Bedding is virtually dust free - for the well-being of animals and employees.
How does Dust Reduction work?
A technical process, the so-called counter low air-classification (see chart), removes dust and finest particles of the bedding. This step is repeated several times during the production process and guarantees lowest possible dust levels.
